Dear Church Family (Pastor’s Letter)

This past month has been interesting to say the least. As a church we have been on an emotional roller coaster: we’ve experienced the low of a massive devastating fire and the high of a miraculous demonstration of God’s favor. The building may be gone but God has blessed us in the wake of it all.

We have seen amazing acts of generosity from the very beginning and continue to receive gifts and encouragement on a daily basis. God has been so good to us. He has walked with us through the fire and has taken care of us every step of the way.

Having acknowledged all this, what can we expect from Him in the future? We can expect Him to be the faithful God He’s always been to us in the past. He’s going to do what He’s promised. He’s going to be faithful to provide everything we need: from the money and material to build with to the very measurements we will use to build by.

I’m not sure everyone realizes this but God is into details. He has a plan and a design for what He wants constructed. How can we make that conclusion? Remember when He told Noah to build an Ark? He gave him the exact dimensions and the lay out for the entire structure. As well as the exact dimensions and materials to build the seven pieces of furniture that would be used in it. Remember the Temple that King Solomon constructed according the plans God had given his father David.

The point is: God has exact plans in mind for the construction of His house. If we will be faithful and seek those plans, He will certainly be faithful to show us His plans. Listen, our God has been with us from the onset of it all. He is going to show us His faithfulness. He’s going to demonstrate His provision. When we come to the end of this construction and look back we will see His fingerprints all over the entire process.


Really and truly these are exciting times for us. We are going to have firsthand experience and a front row seat to observe our great God at work among us. Church, let’s be faithful and follow His plan.
